Greggs: Vegan Sausage Roll

Greggs’ agencies - Havas PR and Splendid Communications - devised this fantastic campaign for the launch of Greggs new vegan sausage roll. They wanted a tongue-in-cheek, iphone style launch film. We thought director Piotr Gregorczyk would be perfect for the job.

Working with the UK’s best tabletop team, a double-headed motion control rig, a super-macro lens and some oversized pastry models, we sent the new vegan sausage roll into space.

With some slick editing by our friends at the Quarry and some excellent post production by Youngster Post, the results were very pleasing.

And a deserved bonus (clever agency strategy meets strong execution meets loved brand) that it has set the Twitter-sphere alight.

Food Hall wins with Freddy Bird in New York

Food Hall were excited to fly out to New York for the Food Film Festival 2018. Directors Crowley & Hill were delighted to pick up the gong for Super Short Film for “Fire”. It’s a film of Freddy Bird preparing some simple dishes over fire in the Bristol countryside. Freddy also flew out to join the Food Hall team and prepare some of the food from the film for the guests there.

Food Hall Does Drinks

Here at Food Hall we love drink as much as we love food. From sumptuous pours of the worlds favourite soft drinks to distillery tours of fantastic single malt whisky we have worked with them all. Food Hall were commissioned to provide evocative visuals for Glenfiddich’s whisky-tasting experiential at Harrod’s.

The concept involves you smelling bespoke perfume flavour profiles and make a selection based on your preferences. For example, do you prefer fresh grass or dried grass, fresh fruit or dried fruit and light wood or dark warm wood? Precise imagery was required in to evoke a sense of the aromas and flavours.  The elements were provided to agency Purple Creative who led this immersive project, it’s been live at Harrod’s throughout 2018.

Lurpak Mini Blocks

Tabletop Food Director & Photographer Scott Grummett shot this series of mobile first food films for Lurpak butter earlier this year. With a two camera set up he captured the details of four dishes in a beautiful split screen format. Who’s hungry?
